yeh i heard the vince thing was fake but i dont follow wrestling that much anymore so i didn really hear or care about what happened with him

The reports that have been released have said that their son Daniel had track marks up and down his arms, possibly from growth hormones injected into the undersized boy.

The scary part about this whole thing is that absolutely no one knew any of this was going on. Not his personal struggles with his wife, family problems, abuse to his little boy, anything. All because he simply does not talk to anyone about his personal life, not even his best friend, Dean Malenko.

 

also reported today on espn.com his son has an illness, i believe it was a mental illness and benoit and his wife used to fight about the son often, about schooling, how benoit is never home to help raise the son...

 

I think their wellness policy, which is great when instituted, is missing a key element, brought to light by this situation.

They need regular psychological evaluation as well.

You never know what is going on in the mind of a man that will not open up to anyone. Hell, none of Benoit's friends knew his dad had died until a few years later.

When you're on the road for 250-300 days a year, thereapy can help a lot, especially in a high expectations job such as being a pro wrestler.

 

Chris Benoit did do a bad thing, it was the roid rage....but respect what he did for the company, he was one of the best technical wrestlers of all time and WWE lost one of their top 10 if not top 5 superstars.....

Anyway. It wasn't roid rage. Roid rage last for a few minutes, not over two days. Possibly depression brought on by steroids, but not rage.

A few weird things is that he is a guy that is heavily respected and looked up to by everyone that has ever had to do business with him or has even been around him because he is such a nice guy and so professional and dedicated to what he was doing.

A weird note that just came across, there was a wikipedia posting some 14 hours before the bodies were discovered originating from Stamford, CT (home of WWE) about the death of Nancy Benoit. (The posting was not made by a computer affiliated with WWE).
