XenonWorx - "Motorized" HID Bulbs!...
Ok, I just got done installing this kit on my friends 2002 Lancer... He ordered a Hi/Lo 9007 kit... I was shocked at what he had recieved, 2 (single capsule) bulbs and 2 ballasts... I thought he got scammed for another set of ballasts for bi-xenons which he needed... Then I noticed that there was a strange base with a wire on it on the HID bulbs... BEHOLD - there is an actuator that PULLS the HID bulb back slightly to SIMULATE a HI Beam light!!! So, they are normal 2 ballast kit, with this special base that eliminates the need for bixenons!.. Especially for all the xB Gen 1 Guys/Gals out there... They work really well and are priced nicely as well here's the link --> http://www.xenonworx.com/ and check out there Hi/Low setup... It's awesome...
Here's a pic of their Hi/Low kit - look at the HID bulb base

Just on a side note, he ordered the Slim Ballast version, (not the one pictured above)... They are about as silm as my Digital HID's ballasts!... I forgot to mention that the actuator activates when you turn on your highbeams, and then returns back to it's lowbeam position when you turn your highbeams off...
Na, it's only one HID capsule inside the bulb and one ballast per bulb, unlike normal bixenons that have 2 capsule's per bulb and 2 ballasts (one for high, one for low)... what this kit does is it moves the bulb to were the normal halogen filament would be for Hi-beams, and then it moves the bulb back to where the filament would be for a halogen low... Kinda make sence?,.. lol...
That picture I posted is from their website... I didn't have a camera on me when I was doing the install... The point of the picture was to show off the actuator mounted to the bottom of the bulbs... As I stated before, he has the slim ballasts (not pictured)...
