u wake up at 730am in the morning on New Years Day!...after going to bed at 3am on News Years Day!

 

and start posting right away

 

wake up... turn on computer.... immediately open browser and go to SL...

spend day browsing.....

sleep... repeat.

 

yeah, i almost got arrested.

friends and i were bored, so we went to home depot and got some materials and made a spud gun.

Went down to the industrial area of town (aka no people @ 1am) and started to shoot it off.

20 minutes later, no other than st lucie county sheriff decides to roll through. He catches us in the act firing in his general direction. We were shooting the potatoes down the road so we didnt hit anything, and he had a potatoe land right in front of his car as he came up a side street.

yeah... 4 police cars, and an hour sitting there later, we got off with a verbal reprimand and we had to destroy the gun against the ground (which is a story in itself... the damn thing wouldnt break because it's such thick PVC pipe, so they just took it)

sucks because the thing was shooting FAR. we had a 3ft barrel that we had greased w/ some crisco and a 8" long combustion chamber. barrel was 2" diameter, combustion chamber was 3" diameter. The end had a screw off end cap. We drilled and mounted a bicycle tire valve into the combustion chamber. For the spark we drilled and mounted a bbq ignitor. The thing was awesome! 3 seconds of hairspray, and then brought the pressure inside up 10 psi via a compressor in my friends truck. hit the ignitor and BOOM! huge puff of flame went shooting out the end

ah well, at least we didnt get felony assaulting a police officer (like they said we might get)

 

damn harrison... you all need eletricity and indoor plumbing down there in the boonies...

and to think... I just got back from Dennys....

So you're saying we should start a support group? I think it's been mentioned before. I'm all about smoke filled rooms with crappy free coffee.
