Q to all: does anyone uses the K rating for the white balance or are they using AWB?

I always use AWB. It's pointless to change the WB setting if you're going to shoot in Raw, because you can just make those adjustments later on.

From Popular Photography magazine:

white balance is also slightly off, pushing that from the pink of your car to neon pink

It's actually pretty accurate to the color of my car, atleast on my monitor.

okay first off, you definited PS'd the pic I posted in this thread because now it looks super neon-esque & way more reddish, secondly one was taken indoors in the dark & the other one was taken mid day in the bright sun. The pic I took looks wayyyyyyy more accurate to the real deal.

p.s. way to jack up the tables on the forum, now I get to scroll to the right, woot!
