So, the NY Auto Show is coming up in a few months and I want to make sure my shots don't come out like ___, like they did last year (had no clue how to use the camera). I don't want to have to raise the ISO, and I know that I'll need to keep the shutter speed over 1/25 since I won't have a tripod. Any tips on shooting indoors in low light? I was thinking about getting a better flash, and hoping that it fills more than the built-in flash.
What's wrong with raising the ISO. U should be able to go to 400 or 800 without much noise at all. The latest cameras have awesome processors that handle noise really well. And most auto shows have decent enough lighting for 400 or 800 iso. Heck I think my camera does pretty good even up to ISO 1600. Everybody should know and understand that noise is acceptable to a certain degree. Photography is all bout compromise. U get one thing but u have to sacrifice another.
but some cameras still suck at high ISO and with a lens that wont open to a big enough aperture its hell..
with my XT and my 17-85mm f/4-5.6 with the ISO all the way up it wont give me more than 1/10 shutter speed. low light is difficult!
