DSLR Owners Unite! (56k? Are you kidding me?)
Ahhh...one of my favorite threads. Happy New Years DSLR owners. I think I finally got my bodies and lenses working right again. 2 bodies and 3 lenses have been at the Canon service center twice the past two months. You'd think they would fix it right the first time. One lens was under warranty and the rest I paid for. yikes! My advice to all of you: If you drop your camera equipment, chances are it needs to be re-calibrated. lol Gawd I'm an idiot.
Anyways, it's been a long time and this thread seems very popular. Good job Robert. I've only gone back a few pages for fear if I go all the way back to my last post.....I'll be on here all night. Good job people on the photos.
My first test after I got my gear back was shooting a high school basketball game for my friend who's the principal. Here's my favorite pic of the night along with the settings. And before you say anything Robert, yes my camera was not straight when I took this shot. Haha Constructive critique and criticism welcome. (CC&C)

and the d90 is supposed to be comparable in specs to the 50d/5d mark ii.
Im the other way around, the nikons were too small for me to feel comfortable with.
the xsi size is comparable to the upper mid nikons.

I don't want this to sound like a stupid question I tried to search but could not find an answer I bought a uv filter for my D40's lens (18-55mm). I bought a SUNPAK 55mm filter that is suppose to screw into the lens I ran into a problem it won't fit!!!I would have thought a 55mm filter would fit into a 55mm lens but whatever...any ideas? I want to get a polarizing filter should I get a 52mm?LOL
Hi, everyone. Im looking to buy a good camera but one that gets good pictures at night. I hate how I cant see the background lights of the buildings at night time. I want my night pictures to come out more like this
not a dark background. I want to know which camera is best for night pictures.

Yeah, you're used to that. lolololol. Sorry. I'll let you call me & yell at me for it later. Glad to know you're still alive since you've been MIA for awhile.
By the way, I'll be heading to Camarillo sometime this week. Me & Robert have a trip to make.
