Roja, love the shot. Wish I had the opportunities that u have with being around drifting and all the teams. Closest I can get is playing GRID and racing for them. ha ha

RnB, that is WAY better than before. Even up to 3200 u could use it for b&W photos just to have a older feel to the photo.
i took all the pics while moving in a car...

you should invest more time, rather than just sticking the camera out the window whilst driving haha.

I have yet to see you do a serious attempt, where you dedicate time and effort. I'd love to see what you can come up with when you actually put some thought and time in the pictures.

So far all Ive seen are garden flowers, toys, your car and shots while driving, why dont you set up a photoshoot and spend a day creating a series of photos. Something with impact and emotion.

have you mastered manual exposure yet?
if so, Id recommend you start learning flash photography, if lack of inspiration is an issue, dynamic and creative lighting might spur it.

I might have to try that.

Any difference if I air dry it? Or maybe will I get water spots?

Do you get a hue shift on your laptop screen? Be careful with the dreaded hue shift in a small quadrant of the deep blues. Which is why I have to use the CRT for color correcting.

The hue shift isn't bad. i did a side by side with my roommates calibrated monitor and you wont notice it unless your really trying.

try opening up a photo with a deep blue sky, and it'll look purple
:/

it has to do with the laptops limited color range.

Personally it only effect photos with sky as a back drop, other colors were fine.
because I shoot a lot of photos with skies outdoors, it was necessary for me to use a different monitor.

my lens hood just came for the 55-250 and it also fits my 18-55 which is nice. plus when you zoom out to 18 it give a nice little circle effect because the end of the hood is visible, but it looks cool. now all i need is nicer weather here and ill take some pics to show you
