so i have been offered a 70-200 F/4 non IS for 500. I really want this lens and it would replace my 55-250 but I would like some imput.

i got mine for $525 shipped to my door with a tripod collar and UV filter. So yeah $500 seems kinda high.

yeah get him to lower that price big time. That is one good thing bout L glass is the high resale value.

I like no color better, the color just makes everything look like mud and considerable amount of sharpness is lost.

the no color has a nice stark contrast.

I agree. I just wanted to see what the photos looked like in color.
