Just finished going through all the pictures from this weekend. Ended up keeping 66% of the photos, which is a hell of a lot better than usual. Here's the Legacy Wagon Bird.

Zach, his info on Flickr says he was using the 50 1.8 and was shooting at 1.8.

well unless he edited it in PS somehow, it's just the normal 50mm 1.8.

Maybe there was a good bit of distance between that flower and the others. That would help create more bokeh.

Both pics were taken with the nifty fifty at 1.8...and yup there was a bit of distance between the subject and the background, in the first one maybe a foot or two. and the second one at least 20 feet between the lake and the tree.

photo n00b question.
i want to get a pic i took and edited blown up like poster size...any way around blowing it up and not losing picture quality...or anyway to retain quality...?

 

the 7d would be PERFECT if it had the full frame sensor. I would KILL for the 19 point AF tho!
