Yes i have the non-IS. i havent used it below 1/30 yet but i did shoot at 200 at about 1/60 in the wind and was fine...obviously would have felt better with IS, but for the price of the non-IS, it is worth it.
I know, i really need something UWA for the car shoots (doing more and more locally now). For now I only the 50 and the 70-200 so something UWA is needed.

seph, love the first shot. 2nd shot doesn't really catch my eye tho. Love the textures and patterns of the first shot tho.
Don't make the common mistake of LEAVING the fisheye on for every shot tho. ha ha I know it's fun and addictive but it does get old. ha ha
