Finally got the chance to use my camera after work one day.

I know the second shot is slightly crooked, I don't have any photo editing software on my work laptop so I can't do any post processing.

I may very possibly be selling some of my camera equipment soon. I'm considering upgrading to the D90 and getting the 18-200mm VR lens, so I think I'm going to be selling my D80 (6500 actuations), 18-55mm, 55-200mm VR, and 18-135mm lenses soon. I might even sell my 50mm, considering I might pick up a 35mm 1.8 and a 50mm 1.4. So if anyone is interested in anything, let me know. It probably won't be for a few weeks/month, but I figured I'd give you guys the heads up.

Too late Jon lol. I was going to buy the D90 + 18-200mm kit, but I just saw that B&H had the D90 and 70-300mm VR for $1179 so I bought it. I'll prob just find a used 18-200mm now, considering they only go for $500-600.
Now I just need to sell my D80, 18-55mm, 55-200mm VR, 70-300G, and 18-135mm

In my local area there were 4 police officers recently killed in the line of duty. It hit the community pretty hard. Well the other day over 2000 police and fire vehicles came together to be part of the memorial procession for the fallen officers. really heart warming experience. i shot the event all day for the newspaper and was thankful to have come up with some pretty memorable photos for the families of their loved ones being honored. Here's just a few from the ~200 or so i got.

all are edited very little with just a little contrast and sharpening.

Long overdue.
