i am so jealous. i wish my family let me have a tree for christmas. the black ornament is so pretty

christmas tree's are great. thats why i work at a christmas tree lot. woohoo.

 

well i would only want a real one because they smell nice but in california mother thinks they are too messy. and a plastic one makes me feel a sad. haha but she says it would not "fit in" with her decor. then here in colorado, my roommates do not have holiday spirit and so they voted against having a tree. haha i cannot win anywhere!

 

just ordered the 50 1.8 and a battery grip for my 30d. little present for myself.

It's at the Georgia Aquarium. I just got back from taking pics in the area.

 

i am overwhelmingly jealous. you get to go to the aquarium and get to see a giant tree. your pictures are pretty though

I took a pic of it but I should have done 2 exposures. The inside of the building is so bright compared to the outside.

trying to learn how to use flash.. shot with Gary Fong's "puffer" pop up flash diffuser on my Nikon D40.. what do you guys think?

 

I love the Nikon cap photos. What is about the cap that makes people want to take pics of it? LOL. I think it looks good. Is that an external flash? I'm not familiar with a flash diffuser... :shrug:

 

So im in the market for a good cheap carrying bag. Bought one on ebay but it was the size of a luggage bag, just sold it to my coworker for 10 bucks. it was a nikon bag HUGE. what do you guys reccomend? or does anyone have one for sale? preferably that fits the d40 18-55 kit lens 50mm, battery grip, filters, cards and battery's?

 

havent had a chance to really use it since i have been writing all my final papers...fml...

i am going to the cayman islands soon so i'll def use it there.

 

just ordered the 70-200f/4L!!! should be here on thursday just in time for my trip! i hope it fits in my bag haha
