The response i got from the seller is that he has never came close to filling the card, and he has 900 photos on it. So is it worth it?

thats all up to u really. when i was getting my d40 people on here told me to go to a store to see which one feels better for me. i loved the d40 and i bought a battergrip for it so it feels even better

i got my XSi(450D) w/ kit lens (18 55 IS) for $450 on Craigslist...so keep looking

Sounds like a reasonable price. The XSi can be had for $400ish used, so I can see that.
