70% of motorcycle riders prolly don't wear helmets. i'm not saying he's smart, not saying he's dumb. that picture was taken of him doing about 15 mph in a parking lot.

 

Hey guys,

I've got a "gig" this Saturday. I'm photographing the Rube Goldberg machine contest. If you're unfamiliar with it, just do some googling. Basically, people have these machines to do simple tasks in the most number of steps possible (think of those comic strips with crazy contraptions to scramble an egg).

I'm going to be renting some lenses (at someone else's cost) and already have a Canon 10-22mm lined up. I also wanted to get a fisheye. Which one would you guys recommend? My options are the Sigma 4.5mm or 10mm.

They're called squids. And the world would rather have them not wear helmets, it allows for Darwinism to more effectively take place when the inevitable happens.

it's not inevitable. its very risky but so are a lot of other things that people do. It's definitely a huge decision and needs a lot of training. and you need to be smart

 

 

so u need to be smart to do something STUPID? um yeah that makes a lot more sense now.

 

while i believe it is his choice not to wear a helmet, it is dumb, you can be a great rider but but accidents happen. People pull out in front of motorcycles all the time and you can't avoid them all. Everybody that has ridden a motorcycle for an extended period of time has wrecked before or at least everyone that I know.

That is one of the main reason i have been hesitate about getting one, not because of my riding ability but just how many idiots there are out there on the road that dont pay attention.
