yeah i heard some people talking about the tennis ball mod. i should do that. i do also have a logitech g25 with the six speed shifter, just a shame microsoft wont let me use it with the xbox. what a bunch of jerks.

Yeah, that sucks. I was about to buy it, but I found out it wasn't compatible with Forza. I might end up buying it for GT5 anyway. I love the Microsoft wheel, even though it's not that great...it still makes Forza much more enjoyable.

And definitely do the tennis ball mod. You don't even need to cut anything up or open anything...you just cut up a tennis ball to fit under the brake pedal and it gives the pedal a better feel. I'm sure by now, you're able to just hit the brakes and find the max point before the wheels lock up (or ABS kicks on if you use ABS), but the tennis ball just makes it so much better. A lot of people also install a spring under the gas pedal to give that a better feel...but I didn't bother.

 

ok, who has used the 17-85 IS? I have been offered a trade for my XS. He is putting cash on top, but this is tempting. what are your thoughts.

also, same with the 28-135IS.

 

I know the 17-55is is a great lens. I havent heard too much about the 17-85is

 

i have gone through photos of both, they are decent lens but obviously have their flaws. i am going to think about it. the 17-85 is more appealling because of it's 17mm for car shots and what not.

 

scratch the 17-85, going for cold hard cash haha.
