damn, im ready to pull the trigger on the 40D. there's a couple i have my eye on...

$625, 40D body, 7k shots, like new condition
$625, 40D body, 17k shots, MINT condition with 4GB SanDisk extreme III CF card
$545, 40D body, 13k shots, like new condition, sent to Canon to fix the AF motor, 4GB CF card

all with box, cds, ect. i might wait a day or two because there's 2 auctions im watching on ebay, they are in the same condition and less on the shutter and they come with the 28-135 lens which is what i want. both have less than 2 days to go, 1 is around $515 and the other is $585 right now and this one has less than 500 on the shutter.

 

Lowest shutter count takes it.

found one, 40D gripped with 2k on the shutter for a good price.

purchased the 40D gripped, should be here next week. probably going to shoot with it for a week or so to see if i like it. if i do i might sell the XSi as a kit meaning with the 18-55. im thinking of getting the 28-135 as a walkaround and replacing the 18-55? there's also the new 18-135 but its hard to find many used since it just came out with the 7D.
