14mm would probably be the best one for wide angle.

I'm getting the 10-22 for Christmas...

 

Okay I looked at the price of all wide angles, and they're all expensive as hell . I think 18mm is wide enough for me.

 

any specific ones you guys would recommend?

Canon? Sigma? Any brands?

 

 

i'm not really fond if sigma, i'd go canon or tamron

Chris! The watermark is killin' me! It totally takes the focus off the actual work!

 

imo it's too big and it's not a "watermark", it's a white symbol.
if it was small and transparent it wouldn't distract the eye much. but you'd still see it.
