Jon, for night shots, what ISO settings do you have set on your camera. Not the actual ISO, but all of the other settings. For some reason, I'm getting a ton of ISO, even when shooting at ISO500.

I assume you're talking to me lol. There's so many people named Jon I can't be sure. Anyway, I don't know why you'd have a lot of grain at 500. My settings are mostly factory besides bumping the color and sharpness setting up one level since it was recommended in something I was reading. I always shoot in RAW and at night if I'm using a tripod I use ISO 100.

 

I think I may have figured it out, I had Long exp. NR off and HIGH ISO NR on Low.

 

My Long Exposure NR is off and my High ISO NR is on normal.

 

Dunno, for some reason, any time I try to get night shots of my car, they're noisy as hell.
