Yeah, f/1.4 was used in that shot. I should have stopped down to f/1.2 but i was scared to miss focus.

So what does everyone think about the 1Dii? I don't need the full frame of 1dsii but i really like the 8.5fps of the 1Dii for drifting and fencing. I can find one local for a decent price (~800). What does the peanut gallery think?

 

Don and I both shoot with 1d IIn's and love it. Very fast, awesome colors, contrast, sharpness, etc. Only thing that I don't like about the 1d series is the two button controls. Other than that I LOVE it!

 

I figure I can find my local guy or KEH has their "average" one for like 645 i think. i will inquire more about each.

 

Your criticism was fine. However, i didn't ask for photo critique just to pick one you liked. On top of that, every time you comment on a photo of mine, you call it soft/missed focus etc etc. Its gotten pretty old.

 

old but true...zoom in at 100% and you'll see its soft...

there are also a couple other things that I didn't mention, but focus is the main issue
