Yeah. You obviously cant do much to this one though. I would do a re-shoot if you can because your back should be near the end of the frame but i like the road being in the shot.

don't sweat it bro... "CONTENT AWARE FILL" will take care of everything soon enough. no need to reshoot.

This forum is full of amateur photogs, myself included. My hope is that everyone sticks with it long enough to develop it into a skill rather than just a hobby.

Anyway, here's a couple of my buddy's DC5 from tonight.

Not too shabby for hand held. I love this little lens.

content aware can GTFO. the more i see what content aware can do. the more i hate it. you're going to have people turning out images they really cannot take ANY credit for...

other than they made enough money to drop the cash on a camera/glass that takes photos with good quality. then figured out how to turn it on, aim the camera in the general vicinity of whatever they are trying to take a picture of, and pressing the button which makes it take a picture. then download the file to their computer. open it in a pirated copy of CS5. click some sort of "auto adjust" or whatever CS5 will have to make things require even less knowledge of what they're doing. then content aware fill.

it's just frustrating thinking about the people out there that will have absolutely no idea what they are doing, and no desire to even really learn... talking big and showing off their black bordered/watermarked photos that of course will look nice but just doesn't represent their passion or abilities in the slightest.

i think adobe should make content aware automatically list itself in the metadata of any photo it's used on. and then also, by using content aware, adobe takes 50% (should be more like 90%) ownership of your photo.

ok... i've said my piece. the people that will love and thrive on it will get upset that someone doesn't join in on their knowledge-less "circle jerk" of marketing themselves as something they aren't. i'm done.

and by griping about this, i hope i don't present the wrong impression that i'm something special. because obviously i'm not. i'm a novice. i just think there's a big difference in the people out there with a passion for it, seeking to learn, and those that just want to take credit for things they have next to no knowledge about while shotgunning through Google University's photography class for cheap tricks.
