thanks! i like the rebel bodies and wanted to shoot some video. i was one click away from buying a used t1i and i got an email on my iPhone from Canon about the t2i being released. i need the higher ISO and love the option to shoot video being my canon p&s does it but not very well. i was messing with one at best buy and its super fast. cant wait.

 

I only have 200. Granted I suck compared to you guys.

I had that on my 18 55...I dont think it made that much of a difference well i couldn't tell but providing protection to the lens

 

I need a hood but don't want those giant ones. I tend to shoot outside a lot more lately and the sun spots are annoying me lately.

 

you wouldn't be able to use a petal hood with the 18 55 either way since it the lens moves when it focuses

Yeah, I need to invest more in different lenses.
