We weren't too close.



The closest anything got, was where the stuff is in the water. This was before they set up the pylons for the track. That's 10mm btw, so it makes things look a little further than they really were.

This was the third pylon in the chicane, in the first pic, it's the furthest one in the set of 3, pretty much right in the middle of the pics. Cropped to 100%.

watching the world cup right now. Feel so bad for those camera equipments out there in the rain.

 

those are high end weather proof gears there though.. i love huge lenses they use there

Thanks man I just used my 18-105. I didn't have media creds so I didn't bother to borrow a longer lens.

 

Did you have to crop a lot? Nice shot.

 

Thanks I cropped out some of the grass in the foreground but that's it. The car was maybe 25ft away.
