what card? i havent done any research on which cards are faster than others. can you help me out? i'm looking for a really fast 2gb, 4gb, or 8 gb card. i never shoot more than maybe 100 pics at a time so 2gb is fine for me.

what lens is this? all i know of from nikon is the 70-200 2.8. which i'd like more than any other piece of equipment. if it only didn't cost alone more than everything else i even have right now... i'd be all over it.

If you have CS, when you open up a RAW file, it will open Camera Raw. After editing, you can save it as a JPG by clicking "Save Image..." and selecting where you want it saved and the format of the image.

So I have been invited to a calendar shoot tomorrow by a friend of mine. He said I can take some photos and work on my model photo skills. I am very excited to be able to use my strobes on people. Any tips on settings and then post processing?

I will be observing more than anything tomorrow, but if yall have any suggestions or tips let me know!

Also, I watched a video for the new Canon 60D and I must say I am impressed. It seems to be a great step up from my 30D in terms of relative size and most of all video better iso control. the functions also seem easier. here is the video

The single hardest thing about working with a model is telling them how to pose. If they don't know, it can take a longgg time. Other than that, it's really straightforward. Since you've been working with strobes, you know the usual high f stop, fast shutter speed deal.

the thing that made working with strobes easier for me is to know that APERTURE controls the exposure and shutter speed controls ambient light only.

That's what I use to view my photos and select which ones I want to upload from the camera.

Well here's the thing I can Do it on a shorter lens but as soon as I start using my 70-300 the whole car comes out blurry. The lowest I could step it down was to about 650 iso 200 with f/8. When I went down to slower shutter speeds I hated all the shots. I'll post up as soon as my Internet stops messing up.

Today was fun. Learned a lot about models and storbing people (takes forever to get the person ready haha). Shot 9 girls indoors and out doors. I am not allowed to post any photos because they aren't mine to post (I was just a tagalong) but I will be shooting some of my friends soon and I'll post those up).
