DSLR Owners Unite! (56k? Are you kidding me?)
Thanks!
Nice shots. I didn't know there was even a 55-300mm. I guess that replaced the 55-200mm.

Nice, Paulo! I really like the way those portraits turned out. Any post processing involved?
Visiting my grandpa in St. James City, FL (near Fort Myers) for spring break (until Friday). It's a great change of scenery from northwest Arkansas.
I dont want to flood this thread with a bunch of my shots, so I'll just leave the link to my Flickr here. I'll be posting up a few new ones each day for the next 5 days.

Thanks guys, just added some vignette, added some contrast, and some vibrance, I am lazy to post process, so I just make sure everything is as right as can be on my camera settings, including my white balance.
A few from my last trip down to Orlando... I generally do most of my shooting at amusement parks and such as you can see.
Shot with a 5D Mark II and a few different lenses... Currently I am using a 70-200 f/2.8 II, 135L, 24-105L and Samyang 14mm f/2.8... Soon to be a 5D III by the end of the week :D

^ awesome. looks like they finally added the 800 width. that's the one i've been waiting for. i figured they would after adding the 640 awhile back. there used to be nothing between 500 and 1024 so for sharing on boards it was like either small or huge. this is good news thanks for sharing.

I guess it's bug season again.. Looking forward to some cool shots, G.
I dont know if this interests you guys, but I thought it was pretty cool. A family friend gave me her recently-deceased husband's old camera that he used during WW2. It's in absolute immaculate condition; I'm pretty sure it still works. I'm planning on learning how to use it in my free time this semester or over the summer. If I'm able to take some pics, I'll figure out how to digitize them and post them up (perhaps not in this thread--I know it's meant for digital photography). Here are some quick shots of it that I took last night.

That's awesome. A buddy of mine has a camera like that, not sure who made it though. Shooting large format will be a whole new experience lol. I've been wanting to go medium format but haven't pulled the trigger. Looking forward to seeing some shots from it!
