im alil confused how the hell can we take bokeh shots?? i just tried shooting my xmas lights in my apartment only way i can do it is if i turn my lens to manual focus..right? lol

 

You need a wide aperture and a relatively close subject distance.

 

figured the close subject distance would be the thing thanks jon!

I love this one. My favorite part about the Christmas bokeh thing, is how artsy and graphic design looking lights can be when completely out of focus.

 

i wish we had more colored lights in my house....all of ours r white.

 

 

im jealous u guys have colored lights AND COOL ORNAMENTS!
