new to DSLR cam's and want thoughts.
well im new to the dslr cams and in the market for one and hopefully can pick one up very very soon im looking at these 2..what are your thoughts on them.it will be my first dslr so i will pretty much learning how to use the cam but want to make sure i make the right choice.i hear that cannon has cheaper lenses so id like to hear what are each - or + or if i should go with a diffrent model..my first choice is the nikkon i messed around with it liked the interface over the cannon that is my 2nd choice.thanks..also im using the cam for everything car shows sporting events and would like input on a good lens for sports shows etc..i dont want to make a bashing just your thoughts on why you like what you have.

i just picked up my rebel xsi about a week ago and its pretty awesome. cant really speak a whole lot from experience but i can tell u the image quality of the xsi is amazing. I like it so much i was contemplating returning this and getting the rebel t1i but i saw a blog today about a t2i being officially announced next week so im waiting to see the price on that so I can make my decision. dont tease any of my pics or my photography vocabulary cause before last week my best camera has been a 3.2 mp smartphone camera! lol. heres some pics i snapped over the last few days.
just messing around with the focus, trying to test its capabilities.
yo can actualle see every tiny particle of dust and dirt on my car from sitting in this parking structure for 2 days.
^^first pic came out really dark in full auto mode
^^ so i switched modes and adjusted shutter speed to 1/25 of a second an viola!
then i took some super close up pics of the carbon fiber w gold pearl painted in ghost effect.

It's doesn't matter where you buy it.... it's more on the price. alot of people like this place...http://www.bhphotovideo.com/ and I like this place because it's local http://store.uniquephoto.com/e/

neither. look for a good condition used Nikon D40. half the price, just as good. when ready to upgrade, sell it for what you bought it for.
