Hello all, I'm gauging interest in a unicorn that I recently stumbled upon. Up for a possible sale is a BRAND NEW, still sealed in the box, never been used, TRD Supercharger for the tC1 2007-2010 model. I had to pay a pretty high price to get it about 3 months ago, I found it through word of mouth (friend of a friend who works at a Toyota/Scion dealership and still had it buried on a shelf in their inventory). Anyways, I've decided that after having my tC for almost a decade, it's time to upgrade to something more track-worthy, so I'm possibly buying a Nismo Z within the month. What this means is that I want to give SL members first crack at this rare find before I put it on eBay. Again, this TRD Supercharger is BRAND NEW, in the BOX........which means 100% of the parts are there and it's NEVER been put on a vehicle or had even one mile of use on it. I'm starting the price off at retail, which is a little bit more than I paid for it, but I will entertain any serious and reasonable offers. If it doesn't sell soon, it will go on eBay where it will still fetch a premium from some lucky person. If you need reassurance when making an offer, just look at my iTrader rating, I've been on here for a long time and have always come through.

Ima be honest buddy. You would have more luck sending it out to get a rebuild then selling. Stock supercharger just isn't worth it imo.. I have a 2005 S/C tC fully rebuilt by Embree. I only bought because it was rebuilt
I also paid $1,100 shipped. Most used eBay kits go for around 800 to 1,500. They are not new like yours but for the price of yours someone could have a mean turbo setup with double the power with more reliability.

Hard thing to gauge a value on. No idea what you paid for it but if you spent anything significantly more than a grand and solely bought it to make a profit on, i think its more of a head ache than its worth TBH.
-You can find them used everywhere.
-They have a horrible reputation
-Turbo is better
-If your selling it new(granted its a rare find and new) it probably wont be cost effective to not get a turbo.
Good luck with sell. Lucky find for sure but it could be a hard sale also.

I'll have to open up the kit (it's still sealed in the box) when I get back to my house on Monday (I'm out of town this weekend.) If it's part of the original kit then it's in there.

They made one version of the TRD Supercharger for the 05-06 tC's, and they came out with a slightly different/improved version for the 07-10 tC's.
This is for the 07-10 version

Mine doesn't have injectors but it does have the weapon R intake.
While my $1000 offer was a lowball. You will never see anywhere close to $2800 for it. You can get a used turbo for less than that or piece together a SC kit for half of that. While it is new, Turbos are more reliable and make more power for the same price.
GLWS though.
