So I have a Mac Mini that I used for maybe about 5 months before it decided to get stuck on the apple start up screen. All it means is that it brinked, so a piece of the update didn't install correctly and got stuck. This apparantely happens to Mac's and iPhones as well... All you need are the system restore (OSx lion..about 5-6 bucks) and it will work.

Specs... 1.42GHz, 512 RAM, 80 GB hard drive, upgraded the SuperDrive (DVD R/rw + CD R/Rw); has Bluetooth as well.

Wasn't Lion the first OS X version to not support PowerPC processors..?

I think your thinking of leopard, or snow leopard. I have the first Mac book with intel processor that uses leopard. I let my cousin install it on his PowerBook and it messed it up pretty bad
