you upgraded to the 35 from that dude? your gonna love it man i love my 35! did you shoot this 50 with a D40?? was it hard to manual focus or nah?? im pretty interested in having this and the 35 aswell

 

Yeah It was ok with the D40. Dont try to shoot mast moving objects that are moving closer/ farther from you. If they are moving along just left/right and not away/closer you can pull it off. But it was a great lens for the D40. Now that i have a D90 i loved it even more, but I just need a wider shot for a lot of stuff.

Do it. And for $100 its such an amazing lens.

 

I thought about getting this one when I bought my D90 but decided I needed something wider too, ended up with an 18-50 2.8.
