definitely going to be HARSH on the daily drive.. but I am not sure you drive the tC daily do you? Those rates will be great from a competition standpoint though.

The 390/550 springs the ss-ps come with can be a bit brutal for a daily driver.. but manageable.

Actually working through some of the numbers and seeing if I cant figure out a custom coilover setup for the tC sometime soon... I have some good ideas floating around currently.

If you get replacement springs, I would talk to hypercoil. VERY good springs.

Not worried about Daily Driving it. Probably won't be, and just leave it to track duty/weekend warrior. I have 2 more cars to give me the ability to get around without the tC.

900 shipped is a really fair price, especially for quality coilovers. They are still in great condition and only 1500 miles have been placed on them. Anything lower then 1000 IMO would be low balling.

IMO buying a used set for $1000 when you can get a brand new set for $1500 is over priced. Might as well buy brand new ones with 0 miles and be the only ones to ever use them.

I not sure I understand your logic. There is still a 500 dollar difference if you buy a new one. Plus your asking him to give you his coils for 500 shipped. If you really think there is no major difference in 1000 to 1500, then you might as well pay 1000 for his coils or at least 900 of what he is actually looking for.

$500 is not that great of a difference to me to pick used ones over brand new, that's my logic. FYI...I didn't ask to give them to me 500 shipped. I had him mixed up with another guy.

Don't matter anyway, this other guy is getting me a shipping quote on his SS's without the pillowball tops. I'll just buy a set of Pillowball tops later.

ok I see..well along with the pillowball mounts you should get the EDFC. I think they are great to have and even if you can't use them in time attack or autox, you can always unplug it. Easy fix in my book for something that will save lots of time.

Yeah I will eventually pick up the EDFC as well, which bumps it up to 32 levels of dampning.

Dont get too hung up on the extra levels. All that does is break the 16 levels into 32 smaller ones. There is a such thing as having way too much adjustability. I personally only see real differences in handling when making changes of 3 clicks or more (that would be 6 with the EDFC). So I have no real reason to ever buy it. IT would be neat to have, but you have to make sure your autox club is ok with just having it unplugged.. it costs you a few hundred or more, etc. So it isnt on a priority list to me. I simply cut 2 rectangular holes large enough to access the rear adjustors and took care of that for free ;) And the holes are barely noticeable really.
