You know.. if you want to avoid trouble finding these damned cables for the ipod connectivity. Buy this cable

http://cgi.ebay.com/SCION-16-PIN-iPO...item3efe557ef9

As long as your HU has a ipod slot in the back it will work as if you're buying those 2 or 3 cables to get the ipod charging and working. I gambled and bought that cable, never been happier, saved me days of finding the cables i needed.

That's not up to the cable, it's up to the Apple device(lol). Trust me i took the time to install all 3 cables i needed for my 06 and it was complete waste of my time and spent a fortune. I ended up selling all the cables on ebay and bought this and a scorche adapter because my 4th gen ipod wasn't compatible on charging. It's the device, not the cable. If you want to save your effort and time it's up to you. btw i'm not giving this guy credit lol i'm just telling you my experience, you don't always have to go by the book that the dealership has made for the car.. always aftermarket products like this that works the same way.
