If you can't find one here..
Try a Pick-And-Pull or a salvage yard..
They are like 300.00 new..
But i bet a salvage yard has one..

Water damage and worried about claim adjuster saying my TRD caused the problem. We have had a lot of flooding in Charleston.

Yeah, but if it is a TRD model, it is covered under the acceptable parts list from Toyota.. They can't deny a claim on a Toyota provided part.. If it was an Injen, i would agree, but if it is a TRD, you should be fine.. They sold them that way from the dealer as well.. No?

I don't think they came that way from the dealer. But I am not 100%. But it is a Toyota part but the claims adjuster may not understand that.

I am with ya, better safe than sorry..
Although with what i have seen on TV, there are parts down there that even if you had a snorkel i think you would have still been done..

It's been bad here. I am also worried my insurance company will only give me a few grand if it's totaled out.

If it's totaled you should still get at least 6-10K for it..
It depends on what they do, but they likely won't total it, it will probably just get a newer, or Jasper Engine swapped into it..

You can always find a shop that will do an engine swap for you, and use what the insurance company gives you to do a swap and just pay the difference out of pocket..

If it is a stick,
I would do the clutch at the same time, and just pay for that..

I talked to some of my co works who have lived here most of their life and they told me that the river next to me connects to the ocean further down the line.

Might not be a bad thing, because at least there is a place for the water by you to go.. Where it seems like in the CNN reports, the water in those area's has no where to go..
