So the new 2012 Scion models have Bluetooth built into the stereo, which is something that my 2011 tC is lacking. I haven't checked to see what's involved in getting the microphone working (or where it even is), but assuming that it's feasible, I'd like to by a 2012 Pioneer premium radio from someone to use in place of my 2011 Alpine premium radio. I believe the part number is PT546-00121 but I'm not positive.

You are correct the Pioneer Premium HU has bluetooth, although so does the standard 2012 unit. The mic is located in the lights above the front seats. I just bought the 2012 and upgraded but then went aftermarket because I wanted the pioneer app radio, ended up getting the 8400BH I love it. I wish I could figure out the mic wiring though. You will need adapters for your harness with the upgrade either way. If you look at the installation of the premium unit it has the PN's listed.
