Well, I did it. I flew to Salt Lake City on the 18th. Left the next day with my new 08 XB RS. Etremely happy with the handling, the power was awesome.

Just waiting on the paperwork and I should have the car in my hands in about a week and a half. Woohoo. Will post pics

I will definitley be over this fall. I play poker and I try and hit the riverrock at least once a month. should work out just fine.

When I picked up the Scion, I hadnt realized but as a demo for Pioneer and some promotion thing they had going on, they installed a big Pioneer sub in the back of the car. Woohoo, what a blast driving back from UTAH, thumping along with the IPOD.

Pretty sweet ride back from there. Hit some nasty weather in Boise on Saturday morning. Rain was bouncing off the road about a foot. In their great wisdom, the highways outside of Boise do not have the reflecting cats eyes. So it was dark, Thunder, lightning and the rain bouncing......And then there is me in my little piece of Gold Bling cruising down the freeway at 5 in the morning. lalalalalala,,,,,The RS is awesome. I love it.

I was amazed at the power in the 4 banger. It was plenty fast enough and had no trouble on the freeway. The wind in Ellensberg was a _____ but all the cars were bouncing all over the place.

I know of an RS5 out in Coquitlam often spotted on Lougheed Hwy

 

So it will be here next Tuesday. At some point it will cross the border on Tuesday and be driven to the ferry, making its way to Victoria. I will then have it a week Friday. Woohoo, I am so stoked.

Can you say roadtrip. I may have to make it to a meet in Van soon. I have a couple of weeks off at the end of this month so I think I will come over. Probably head down to a seahawks game.

 

If you are killing time in Vancouver, post up and I'm sure some of us would meet up outside of the second Sunday of the month. Just give a little notice and we could meet up somewhere.
