Just wonder what parts of Ontario we got people in, and what things look like for them.

for myself;

I am in the Ottawa Vally area, so far from what I know there are around 4 XB's incl mine in the area.

There is an older white XB, my 2006 white XB, a Blue one and then a dark gray one. Some people have told me that there is also an XB booting around with some adverts on it for a Computer Company. I havent confirmed this one yet. So all in all Ottawa has alot of XB action it seems... I know of 4 for sure... but possibly as high as 6 XB's in Ottawa


There must be quite a few in Ontario really..... but only a small groupe of people are Online and or Interested in them from a Car enthusiasts point of view. They are such practical little vehicles that I think alot of people just buy them as though its a neat car and thats that. Kinda sucks because I will never have an Ottawa meet or sumthin if XB owners arent active enthusisast.



I figure everyone els in Ontario is around the Toronto Area? any outsiders!?

 

My wife has an xA in Toronto. I'm sure there are others out there but I have yet to see one. As for xB's I see maybe one a week so there are definatly more of those floating out there.

 

I have a 2006 white xB and am in Toronto/Richmond Hill. I see the same ones around...A couple in Richmond Hill...one white and an orange one...a dark blue one downtown.

 

i'm in Thunder Bay, working on getting an xB by june of july... never seen one around this area

 

I've got an RS 1.0 living in Hamilton right now, but moving to Waterloo in a month's time. I parked beside a 5-speed Black Sand Pearl box with a Scionlife decal at an Outback in Ancaster last night, which I thought was pretty cool. I think I've seen that one driving around before, and we share some road during our morning commutes.

There's also a white box in my local town (Waterdown), but I've never seen it myself. I've just heard rumors of its existance. There are another two boxes in Guelph; I can't remember the decals on the one (another black sand pearl), and there was a thundercloud metallic '06 (IIRC) at the Toyota dealership.

 

Well the other week I finaly got a look at this other white scion XB I was hearing about from people and my wife. It is coverd in advert logo getup for a company called : Grade A student ..... they are a mobil tech support/consultation sortah thing from what I understand. anyway I know this one is real, so thats 3 other then mine I have seen, and that leaves I think 2 others that I have only heard about...


I wonder if any of these XB owners in my area are going to step up and get online... It would be fun to get together for a short crusie.

 

I've got a red box in Barrie, Ontario. The only one I've seen in the city. I wish there were a few more, I feel like the last of a species:-)

 

I'm from Peterborough, Ont.. Just got an 05 xB, have seen one other within a 1 hour radius of me.

Mine is silver below, really bad night time photo with a camera phone haha, but i just put the projectors with halo's in.

Anyone live near me?

 

I am located in Kitchener and there are a couple in the area. I have an 04 R.S 1.0, my inlaws have a 05 and so does one of my buddy's. I have also seen a couple more running around. There are quite a few now in Ontario

 

If only we could get in touch with the other Xb's we see all the time that dont take the effort to go online and hook up with the community....

Even without them.... looks like Ontario East has a pretty good start.

got myself my 05 white Xb. living north of newmarket. only one around here and the amount of looks i still get ppl always asking ?'s about it. damn gotta love my xbox. anyone really serious about meeting starting a club lmk. could do wonders and now that the 07 TC allowed in ontario hope to c some around. peace.

 

i'd join a mini club anyways, nothing toooo major by any means..

just nice to see other people who have an xb in the same province, I really am getting sick of all the questions though in my day to day

 

so u get asked alot to. i know the feeling sometimes. well im part of some of the other clubs in ontario, mainly honda enthusiest clubs. My other car is 95 civic HB fully modded for shows. so to have two cars that are outta this province lol is amazing. but still looking to do mods to my BOX but nothing to heavy still its my daily driver and family car.

 

i got a 04 box, paited camo gree. i am in simcoe30 min south of hamilton. i have seen 2 other xb herebut i have not been able to locate or talk to them yet. any one buy chance know who they are? and is any one planing a scion cruse night this summer. that would be sweet.....

 

that would be a gr8 idea. the only thing is everyone is so spread out that we would have to come to terms on to a simple meeting ground. is there anyone looking into parts. i know i am. just simple stuff. nothing overdone.

 

what type of mods u after. most aftermarket stores should be able to hook u up. i live next to a indian reserve and they have a pretty good little shop. so if u are after any thing that is a high price let me know i will hook u up with them. This way u will at least save the tax.

Buy the way has any one seen a new tc on the streets yet?

 

well mods im looking into are full coilovers(TEIN)basics. strut bars. headlights. i really would like to get the urathane lip kit first. once i do my suspension setup im putting my 17's on, getting it from the states is good but paying the damn shipping is wat kills us. as for seeing any TC's i seen 1 in richmond hill last summer. sick ride. good to know the 07's are allowed here now. may jus get one of them two.

 

As we all know in Ontario shipping from the US for parts can be a pain in the ****... Some places will only ship within the US, some will Offer free shipping within the US and charge top dollar once you say Canada... and so on and so on..... Depending on what and how big the parts are that you need to get... You can find your closest local boarder crossing with a UPS store closest to that point. Once you have that matched up for location... get it sent and just cross over into the US to pick it up... you pay a small fee for them holding the package at UPS store.... then cross back and pay your tax....

I have done this with no problems at the Ogdensburg Crossing point.

The Crossing Point is Ogdensburg thats the Town on the US side... The bridge connects at Prescott on the Ontario side.. Its the Crossing Noth of the 1000 islands crossing.
