Anyone looking to start a GTG in the Toronto area? I am also a member of VWvortex & there are a few of us that get together on Tuesday nights at the Timmies on Queensway around 8-9pm then head over to Jack Astors for a few beers.

Since the winter season is in effect I am the only Scion owner that shows & it would be nice to see a few others make an appearance.

 

^ are there other xBs showing up during the summer meets? i might show up on a tuesday just to meet another xB owner in TO. by the way, vwvortex guys you used to meet at Mavis (Krispy Kreme) before right? i went there with a bunch of my friends with my '82 Starlet. we're driving a bunch of old Toyotas, hehehe.

Yes that was the meeting place for a while, now everyone meets across the street at the A&W then heads over to the Devils Harp for a few drinks.

hey guys. for sure im down for meets. ive had my toaster for over a yr and love it. and to show it off sure. as i posted b4. i would like to setup a scion chapter of clubs. parts and other ____ is discounted as ppl know from any other clubs ure with.

We're going to meet at Tim Hortons on Caledonia and Castlefield aka "New Timmies" at 1:30pm. Anyone that wants to role up with us just meet us there, we'll be leaving Tims by 2:00pm sharp!

We should arrive at Formula by 2:30pm and start setting up....ready to go by 3:00pm. Hope to see you all there!


They just finished re-doing their new track layout. Their prices aren't bad at all.

20 lap race which is $27.50 including taxes. Membership fees apply to anyone that hasn't been there before, but it's not much...and worth it.
Helmets are provided by them if you dont have your own.

Depending on how many people show up they may split us up in to two or more groups since they only allow 10-12 cars on at a time. But the track is really nice and the cars are pretty quick.

Hey fella's ive been on here for a while, I live slightly to the east of Toronto with a TCM 2005 xB.

I hope we can start to use this thread and/or forum a bit more to help others in Canada find ways to buy aftermarket parts for their Scions (for decent prices).

If there are any scion meets in Ontario, let me know, I would probably drive out to one.
