well that was a waste of time, but we did get to talk to Rob over at Team Scion... he's going to keep us posted on the details as they come... basically, in a nut shell, civics start at team honda, and we will start at team scion, head out to another location where we all meet up, it ends at hooter's on seigen... then they will have a car show, top 3 civics, top 3 scions, and best of show... for as the poker prize, that hasnt been mentioned yet... i'll check in with Rob every 2 weeks to see what's going on with it if he doesnt come on here in and do the updates himself...

oh, forgot to add, the scheduled date for this is June 2nd, if i recall right, it's not set in stone, but thats the date that has been made... they are still working on the details and getting vendors and what not... MTV is supposed to be involved as well...
i would like to ask every scion owner that does make this to not be an @ss... this will be on tv, and the honda sales team and their manager have been very kind to us as well when we did show up to their little event... the civic owners, well, i didnt talk to any of them, nor did i go out my way either, but they seemed nice... so lets show them the same respect ;) that's all i got...
hope we can show up strong for this...

- At the first stop, both the Civic and the Scion group will join and continue the poker run as one huge group
- Best poker hand will win a significant cash prize
- DEFINITION - a poker run is where a group of vehicles have a list of places to stop at and at each place, you go into the store and are handed a playing card. After 5 or 6 stops, you turn in your cards and whoever has the best poker hand wins. There is no age limitations on joining the fun

no racing... more like a cruise... each stop, you get a card.. when you get to the final destination, you get your last card and play poker...
