I had this post in the wrong area before. Im moving to Decatur, AL and am just curious to what the Scion scene is like there, Thanks!!!

 

Welcome to the Deep South!!!! Right now, we are a little light in the north AL representation.. We really only have one very active member in that area.... However, most of the interstate between Decatur and Birmingham is paved now, so, in an hour, you could be joining us.....And before long, the Al chapter of NRG is going to have a meeting up that way....

When can we expect you? We could have a 21 Scion salute at the state line for you.

Wow! How do you end up in a place like Decatur, AL?! Oil industry?! HAHA! I kid, I kid.

You'll find out soon that Decatur has little to offer, including on Toyota/Scion dealership with a lack of Scion knowlegde. Huntsville is your best bet for anything good. One NRG member stays in Huntsville... so by the time you make it down here, we'll have to set up a meet up north.

 

July 5th is the move in date. My girlfriends dad got a job there and he hooked me up there too. plus it will be a nice change of scenery. At least ill be one of few xb's in town, which is kinda what i was hoping for.

Hey! Cool! You'll be just in time for a meet down in Birmingham... which is about an hour south of Decatur.

 

That depends on who's driving. Two hours for me.

 

It's closer to 45 minutes for me, unless the troopers are on a fund raising drive....

 

I got a job at waynes farm, in matintenance. what day is that meet? is it that weekend?

 

This meet will be on a Saturday...we are going to all get together and work out some Sunday meets for the future....

ill probably be able to make it to the one on saturday, after that im not sure because i have a weird 3rd shift schedule. ill see what i can do though. thanks guys, you all are much nicer than the GLR forum.

 

3 more days, i should be crossing into AL about 1PM on the 5th, whats this i read about a 21 scion salute? hehehe
