Supercharged tC's are good starting points for daily driven cars... they are not the best option for overall power.

There was a supercharged RS1 tC at the track the same night I went. His best was 15.4 @ 89... My best that night, with I/spipe/exhaust, was 15.5 @ 90, with a terrible 2.5 60-foot.

Granted, his compressor wheel was probably FUBAR'd since it was noisey as hell, but any supercharged car at 9.5 psi, with header/spipe/exhaust on top of that, should DECIMATE it's naturally aspirated twin. It just doesn't seem to be the case. Toyota's fuel map is as conservative as a rural southern baptist.

I'm positive I can hang with a S/C tC who is otherwise stock. I'm confused as to why, but we just are not seeing the power levels and acceleration characteristics that we should from a boosted motor. Perhaps it's impossible to launch correctly with that much torque that low in the powerband, in a FWD car.
