Dynomat or E-dead may help with the rattling. Sorry, that's all the advice I have other than downgrade your subs.

I've been thinking about the fuel lid vibrating and I have an idea. Maybe use some 3M double sided tape and some sort of rubber gasket and basically outline the interior part of the lid so that the rubber will touch the metal rather than there being that small airspace that allows the metal to rattle. So I guess what I am trying to say is make a rubber gasket to fit the inside of the fuel lid. Make sense? Just a thought.

dynomat helps alot! i have a 12' sub down firing. i had it in for like 2 weeks and i couldnt go another day hearing the whole back end rattle, including the wipers, gas lid, and liscence plates. so i dynomated the whole entire back end, took out the spare tire and foam moldings, and what really helped the back was installing a 3 x 5 behind the liscence plate. and for the gas door, cut some small pieces and slap it on the back side. that should do it. man it makes a hell of a difference!
