I am thinking of putting a turbo in my xB, but I need to know before I do it if I need a new transmission! I know that I need bigger fuel injectors, but I have had mixed feedback on this issue. Some say that I can use my stock transmission and others say that I must upgrade it! At this point I don’t want to spend money on the turbo system till I know if I have to spend even more money on another transmission! PLEASE HELP!

the stock trans is fine... you must upgrade your clutch and pressure plate... there is a 6-speed trans that is almost bolt-on, requires a little modification to the bell housing and a little finess but toyota makes one to fit.

you will need the 1.8Litre toyota MRS injectors they are 260cc, the stock ones are 200cc, you should look into the ZPI F/I cylinder head and pistons also. If you plan on putting a lot of boost on it you may want to find some bigger injectors
