Default 11/10/07 Focus Fanatics 1st annual mountain run

Hello,

My name is Travis from FocusFanatics.com and we are currently planning a mountain run through Prescott and out the 17. We have a worldwide website that is purely centered around the Ford Focus and friends who have the same love for the car. Currently we have 2 states joining in with Arizona. California and Nevada. I have been informed of your club and would like to invite any who would like to join us for a great cruise into the mountains of AZ. Below are all the details and I hope to see you there

When: Saturday Nov. 10th 2007-----8AM
Route: MAP
Location to meet: Surprise, AZ at the Lowe's parking lot on the corner of Grand Ave. and W. Bell Rd.: MAP

What we are doing is heading out the 60 and going North to Prescott. I want all of us to leave as early as possible so we don't get too much weekend traffic. We'll meet 8:00AM and head out at 9:00AM. I need a going list, So post up if you are going! []

The run will be approximately 5 hours starting in Surprise, AZ and will end in Phoenix, AZ.

We have a wonderful route planned that will take you up the beautiful mountains of Arizona, have lunch in Prescott and drive back home on scenic Highway-17. We'll end the drive at the Outlet Mall in Anthem where members can pose for final pictures and say their good-byes.

Everyone is welcomed to attend & join in on the fun!

We own Scions. Not Fords.
I traded my focus in for a Scion.

Now Now guy's -- What kind of replies are those? I think I recall a trip around the 101 with other non scion groups. It was all good then right? So whats different now? Aren't we supposed to be "car" guy's.

Travis -- Thanks for the invite. I'll keep this in mind.

Sorry Chad -- You are excused from my comment

Why thank you sir . Seriously I think it would be really great if the Scion community would get involved with road trips like this. Back in WA. we would get 50-100 cars out for the day driving thru the Mountains, Mount St Helens and other places. It was a blast!

Sorry Ray, you are right. It would be fun to represent Scion BIG on a trip like this. Guess it was late when I posted.

Yes, you are correct there is not anyone signed up as of YET. Im pretty sure that the post was making it an offer for US Scion owners to join for those of you that dont. If you dont want to join then thats up to you.

Like Ray said

wtf since when are we so mean here?

last time i checked scion wasn't the nicest car brand in the world.

AND last time the Z group invited us and they dont look down on us so what makes it ok to look down on the focus crowd....

ugh scionlife makes me sick...

Crispy -- No one said your weren't allowed to voice your thoughts. The focus peeps thought that it would be kool to invite other groups from around town. Hell the boys/girls out in socal do a yearly run with vw peeps. And theres no looking down by either party. They have a great time getting together. So why not us? Thats all.

It's all good man. Maybe we should think about doing this. Could be a blast. And a chance to get out of town for the day.

The most you will drive on your day off is around the block to Randodes beer filled fridge.
