Yep, I got pulled over again on my way home from Chris' tonight. I actually had two DPS officers pull me over. They were both really cool and luckily I had a fresh set of tails in the backseat. The 2nd cop gave me a repair order for my taillights then complimented me on the car and said he was into customizing cars himself.

man those lights look slick though, why would they give you a ticket if you can still see all the lights? Why would you have to buy new lights, couldn't you just remove the film from the ones that you have?

 

the lights are REALLY dim. The cop before said that the brakelights look like my regular lights should. I have to get new lights because mine are painted to match the car. I will be putting them back on for shows and meets.

 

oh I didn't know they were painted, i thought you had Chad hook you up with some Rockblocker film. So if they look normal with the lights then what are these cops problem?

 

Im not sure if you knew this or not. But if you got a ticket for it the first time. All you have to do is carry the ticket with you till your court date and they wont give you another ticket. I learned this on my tint. I got a ticket, left the ticket at home and got pulled over a couple days later and the cop said if I would have had the ticket with me he wouldnt or couldnt give me another one on top of it. well from then on I always leave the ticket in my car.. LOL.. It has worked many of times though. You can just tell them you have a appointment to get it fixed.

 

They are so dark I almost hit him on Camelback rd after the meet there. And no I didnt tint. They are painted

 

I'm sure that can only work for so long, there is a date printed on the ticket so you can't say you've been trying to get an appointment for the last 6 months. Tim what do you do about people that have illegal tint?

 

NCBIGGJ- I'm keeping the ticket and the new tails until my court date. I 'm just gonna tell them that I just picked them up and am going to change them out. After the 29th, the painted ones will only be on for shows and meets.

 

yeah it only works till your court date. I didnt mean forever.. LOL.. But it keeps them on till the court date atleast.

 

I almost hit him too on the way back from the listen up meet when I was following him to his parents house.
