My cousein is stationed in Iraq and Sunday he was in a Humvee and the ran over a road side bomb and blew up his side of the truck. He broke some bones that I have no Idea how to spell or say for that matter, and got burns up all his arms and face. He is now in serious condition, went to surgury in bagdad, now he is in germany, going through another surgury. He will then be shipped to Washington for rehab, if he makes it. I will know more tonight. I will keep everyone posted.

 

Go vote today! Get the dems to take over the house and we'll have a much better chance of getting the hell outta Iraq.

i can't stand it either, and i did vote my a$$ off.

a buddy of mine was just stuck over there for 10 mos - he's a cop, 47 years old, three kids, barely making ends meet. they called him up from the reserves, and he had to take a $1000/mo pay hit to go get shot at.

I was surprised to hear him say that it was a stupid faking war, and that we have no biz over there.

I respect all soldiers and how hard they are working. I respect that we tried to liberate a people, I fully support our troops 100% but I do not respect Bush and what he has / is doing over there now. Sorry to say it, but you cannot cure or fix crazy insane people and then have peace. Only crazy can control crazy which is why that phsyco was in power over there so long. Hope he hangs soon. Just glad so far it was not another shocker court case were the bad guy gets off.

So sorry to hear about your buddy man. Hope he makes it ok. Would not wish what happened to him on my worst enemy. When he makes it, I am sure he will be happy to be the heck out of there.

 

Sorry to here about your cousin, that really sucks. I lost my dad when I was two to the military (he was a pilot in the navy). I would be there if I didnt have this bum knee. They definately do not pay our boys enough to risk life and limb for country and freedom. The best we can do directly for them (in my opinion) is show our support.
We have to support our troops reguardless of what we think of the war. Tell him I said thanks.

I cant vote cause I have 4 felonies and was locked up for 3.5years. Illegals arent blowing up my family members. This war isnt about 911, 911 is what gave Bush the excuse for the war. Its all about MONEY!!!

9-11 is remembered and always will be. That was OSAMA and his band of morons, not Iraq. If we want to fight terrorists then we should be fighting a different war, not the one we are fighting now. And as for illegals, half the things you enjoy and take for granted would not be possible without them, I am very sure you are to lazy to do the vicious hard work that illegals do in this country. Lets see you go pick fruit for days and months on end to make a salary that is sad for a 3rd world country. Lets see you work the fields and tend to crops. We NEVER had a surplus, it was a projected surplus. I do agree that the GOP spends way to much but all government money is focasted.
