Sorry to hear about this but happy to hear that he's coming stateside in 3-5 days...Will keep him, family, and other troops in our prayers!

 

Chris, I am very sorry to hear about your cousin, I hope that he will be fine. I suspect it will take a long time and lots of rehab. If you need anything please get with me and the rest of the community. I’m sure we will all pull together and do what we can.

I am a twin, he was taken from me and my family, I feel your pain and your potential lose of a family member. Though I did not lose him to the armed services, losing anyone close to you is never easy.

 

Thanks again everyone. I havent heard anything new yet. He was headed to surgury last I heard. I hate that this happened to him. At the same time I worry about my brother, cause he just went to OK. for bootcamp. so two of the youngest in the family in the army at the same time. Sucks. Now my mom is really stressed out. My cousin actually turned down the chance to be drafted right out of high school to play for the St. Louis Cardinals, to go to the ARMY.

 

that's patriotism right there, dang.
