All right all you Phoenix and NM boys! Some of the CO crew has come down to visit us for shows and I think it is time to show our support to them. Cesar, we know you have been there and met some of the crew, maybe you can get the low down on this show for us??? Let us know.

In the mean time, who would be interested in rolling out there for the weekend. If the weather is permiting then the drive will just be about a little longer then our trip to Roswell. Maybe 11 hours total...Straight up through the four corners and Moab and through the mountains of the Gore Range(Ron you would love this one section of I-70), a really great drive!

The show is on the 14th of April and I was thinking of leaving on the morning of the 13th(friday) at 4 from 101 and 17. That would put us into Denver around 3 or 4 in the afternoon, can relax for a few hours then go out Friday night in LoDo(Lower Downtown Denver). Then go to Boulder for the show Saturday, party there Saturday night and then leave to drive home around 8 on Sunday. Knowing how this group drives I would say coming home we would make pretty good time and be home by 7 or 8 Sunday evening.

I will say this looks like a smaller meet and if everyone is game to go at another time down the road, that's cool also, just thought I would throw this out there!

 

I think we have the Fire it up car show on the 15th.

 

I'm thinking maybe later in the year - possibly June. My mom and sis live just west of
Denver. But I'm not sure if I want to drive up or fly up and rent a car. I'll decide on
that after I see how well the wife handles a road trip to socal in may.

 

if that fire it up event is on the 15th I think since its a benefit show it would be better for us to stay and do that event to provide for the firefighters. I am down though to drive up to Colorado and visit my buddy DJHAX.

 

I agree with you Scotty J! Wasn't aware that that show was on the same weekend. We should defenitely plan something around early Jund though, get up there before it gets hot. Not like it will be anything near here, but Denver can get a little toasty in the summer.

I can go in late May or June for a weekend. The Scion Invasion will be the same weekend as last year so that would give a nice little break between large trips for everyone and it won't be too hot in May/June (hopefully).

I'm sure that Bryan at Camel Back can ask since he is on the phone with them weekly. I am not speaking up for Bryan as there are several of us who can ask. Or being that SCION Corporate does watch our threads already they may already know.

 

The 14th is no good for me but I would like to make that trip some time this year. lets make it happen.

 

Thanks for the great ideas everyone. I will send the Mikes an e-mail tomorrow to ask what they think about a rally on the Corp. offices of Scion?!?!? I am sure they would be game for something like that. Now we just need to figure out a weekend and then I can look into some things to do. I know some great drives that we can go on and plus Golden is right there! Maybe we can look and see what Red Rocks summer schedule is like and plan it around a show. Love going to see concerts there!!!!! Keep posting up ideas of what we could do, maybe four day trip, two days driving, two days hanging out, that would give us three nights out! I will look into Red Rocks and email the Mikes.
