I have a few weeks at home when a Thurday would work, although weekends are definitely better...

Let's see who we have to attend and plan from there? I'd rather not do this outdoors. If we do end up having this on a week-night we canprobably find a restaurant to host it pretty easily. There's a Denny's near the dealership with an extra room they open up for large parties, I'm sure there are plenty more places like that.
I know that places like Hometown Buffet also have banquet rooms they open up for groups at no charge. Would anyone be interested in either of these locations? I know Hometown Buffet closes at 8:30 during the week though.

Another option would be to rent a community building like a req center or church hall and have a potluck but that can get pricey.

CoCo's restaurants usually have a banquet room or two... It is free, but they appreciate it if we order at least apps or something.

Amazing Jake's has party rooms and places for kids to run around... We only paid $8 each when we went last time, I wonder how much a room would add to the cost?

I looked into CoCo's and their Scottsdale location (near Scottsdale Fashion Center) has a separate banquet room (other locations did not) which would be available for no charge assuming we all eat dinner there. The room itself holds about 40 - 45 people and we would be able to arrange the tables and chairs after dinner in order to do our White Elephant gift exchange. The person I spoke with suggested we create a "limited" menu meaning we would have our own special menu with limited items basically to speed up the process of ordering and getting food out for our large group.

They have availability on Thursday, December 15th if this works. I am going to stop by the restaurant after work to see the location and see about the menu. Does this sound agreeable to everyone or would you like to look into other options?

This is intriguing. I missed the last one at Jakes.

Also... the ONLY reason I suggest an OFF-night (maybe even a Friday) is that there will be office parties coming for the Holidays. Most of those are Saturday night affairs in my experience.
