Guess who lost.. The little clamp down by the bulkhead came loose and my shifter cable sat on the header for a while before I caught it. I kept wondering why the shifter kept feeling mushy. Well I found out.
Just a heads up.. that cable is about 200$ to replace..

Does the clamp need to be modified when a header is installed? I havent installed mine yet, thats why im asking.

 

No, I know exactly when I did it too.. Going home up hunt the road has a sharp left corner turn and there was a rather large rock in the middle of the road kicked up by a construction truck.. I had no place to go but cringe when I went over.. I heard it go thud thud thud all the way down.. I think its when it got moved.
I have marks in my APR K bar and in the 2 floor pans down that side where the clamp is at.. So I guess it was a (un)lucky shot
