Default Hello people I am new to this forum

I came here to get information and tips about my Scion TC, I am mechicanically challenged and yes I don't know much about cars so bear with me.

I just want to say I own a very nice white 07 Scion TC and right now I have an Injen CAI, TRD Exhaust and DC Header, just your typical simple bolt ons.

I am so upset that I cannot keep up with any of those newer Si's and those darn SE-R Spec V's. Well the ones I raced were all modified with I/H/E,but I still cant keep up with them what am I doing wrong, i drive pretty darn good too.

Do you have a 05-06 or 07-08? You could install a TRD supercharger which will boost your horsepower from stock 160 to 200, with the addition of the header and exhaust it will be a bit higher. OR you could go the turbo charger route which will give you a dramatic power increase. Locally for the turbo you could contact JoeDezod here on the forums.

Welcome to the forums. There a quite a few guys here in the D&S that have some kick A$$ cars with a lot of power. You should come out to the the next meet or show and see what everyone has and talk to them about it. That is one of the best ways to find out exactly what you want.

Most of the local meets get posted on http://www.scionetics.com/

I think the next major meet is September 15th.

Is there anyway I can do it without boosting or supercharging or using nitrous?

Its kinda odd if I raced a stock si and a stock spec v and if mine was stock too, I know my ___ will be handed to me.

If my car has I/H/E i know I can take on those stock si's n spec v's. But I know when those two are modded with I/H/E they are quicker than me.

So theres no way then uh?

I wouldn't say that, have handed a few si's their lunches in the tC....you can do other things to help lighten the car.....*cough*carbon fiber*cough*....can also go with a performance chip, get it tuned and dynoed, many other fun and expensive things I am sure...lots of things to do!!!!
