So, I've been out in my new house 4 about 7 month'z
now and it'z a trip, I see Scion'z out here and there
not 2 friendly! I came out here from Cali where most
Scion Peep'z give u a wave or something! I just came
back from Lake Havasu and it was the same, I wave
Hi and noth'n, Maybe it'z just a Cali thing! I stopp'd
2 gas up in Flagstaff and a White box wave, The plated
on the box was from Cali! Is it just me or what? I thought
have'n a scion meant we were family? Sorry peep'z, I
just want'd 2 vent!!!

 

hmm maybe but i live in chicago and only sometimes i get a flash or so from another scion owner

 

It'z weird huh! Maybe Cali just spoil'd me!!!

 

you know what else is weird? Cali probably has the most tuned up cars in the US and they probably have all the shops, parts, etc available right down the street. The irony about that is even though Cali is the hot spot for car enthusiasts and you can just about get anything down there for your car..they however have the most restrictions for personally tuned cars and if your caught racing they automatically pound your car.

i usually wave, only if they see me and we make eye contact. most of the folks with xbs out my way are old folks. so they dont like us custom xbs.

 

You have to remember, around here...people may be very friendly, but very much do they keep to themselves. In CO and Philly I knew everyone in the neighborhood, here...I know my neighbors across the street and das ist alles!!!

I'll be honest...if you drive a Scion and don't have many mods, I won't waive. It isn't a stuck-up thing, but just rather in my experience, those people don't waive back. But if I see one of my friends or fellow import enthusiasts....heck yeah I am goin to throw out a duece or something!!! Don't take it so personal mang...I hardly see anyone I know and hardly ever get the lovin back....just this day and age and the joys of Phoenix!
